Urban Social Coffee Islington is a speciality coffee house, well known for great coffee and brunch since 2018
We are looking for a super friendly, reliable, and organised Manager with extensive speciality coffee skills and a minimum of two years’ management experience.
You’ll work five shifts a week, around 40 hours, and manage the FOH team.
Hours are usually 7am-5pm or 8:30am-3:30 pm on weekdays and 8/8.30am openings on weekends
Tasks:
Managing the rota with the Sling app
Motivating & training baristas and FOH team
Collaborating with Supervisors/Assistant Managers and updating the Head of Operations when necessary
Choosing guest coffee from roasters all around the world
Managing stock and ordering mainly via Rekki and ensuring stock is rotated & meeting demand. (Rekki experience is necessary)
Ensuring the cleanliness of the shop & cleaning checklists are completed
Experience with all health + safety regulations & ensuring all documentation is completed
